Course: 16 weeks, 1 class per week

What will I learn in this course?

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Use conditionals (periodo ipotetico) to express hypothetical situations
Apply passive forms in spoken and written Italian
Report speech using direct and indirect forms
Demonstrate accurate tense agreement across complex structures
Communicate clearly and confidently on a wide range of topics
Analyse and present different viewpoints effectively

Prerequisites

Completion of Upper-Intermediate Italian B2 Part 1 or similar.
Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation.
Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Conditions of enrolment

• Missed classes cannot be made up by joining other classes on different days/times
• Once enrolled, fees cannot be refunded unless classes are cancelled by ILC

• Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis
• In the case of classes with less than 8 students enrolled, ILC may cancel the class and refund the enrolment fee and cost of materials where applicable
