Course: 16 weeks, 1 class per week

What will I learn in this course?

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Apply basic Italian pronunciation rules with confidence
Use common greetings and introduce themselves and others
Identify and use articles, nouns, and adjectives (gender and number)
Use simple prepositions and numbers in everyday contexts
Conjugate and use common verbs in the present tense
Engage in simple conversations using familiar everyday expressions

Prerequisites

For absolute beginners with no prior experience with Italian.

Online Class Technical Requirements

Webcam & Microphone
A functioning webcam and microphone are essential. A built-in laptop microphone is usually fine; a headset with a mic is excellent for blocking background noise and helping you focus on the class.
Software & Platforms
Classes are hosted on Zoom. You will also receive access to the platform Teach ‘N Go, where you can check what was done during a class, assigned homework, additional materials shared by the teacher, as well as important announcements from ILC.
Email & Communication
An active personal email address (such as Gmail) is required to receive class links and invitations to join online learning portals.
Speed Requirements
For clear audio and lag-free video, a broadband connection with at least 5-10 Mbps for downloading and uploading is recommended.
