      Course: 16 weeks, 1 class per week

      What will students learn in this course?

      By the end of this course, students will be able to:

      • Use basic communication skills to greet others, make introductions, and hold simple everyday conversations
      • Apply new vocabulary relating to family, school, food, animals, colours, numbers, and daily routines
      • Demonstrate foundational grammar knowledge, including sentence structure, verb usage, and gender agreement
      • Recognise and appreciate key aspects of Italian culture, including festivals, cuisine, geography, art, and music
      • Express themselves creatively in Italian through songs, games, stories, and role-play activities

      Semester 1 | Enrol by 5 February 2027

      Week commencing 15 February until 17 June 2027^
      No classes: Public Holidays

      The After School Italian program combines structured lessons with hands-on activities to keep students motivated and engaged. Activities include:

      • Interactive games and language challenges
      • Storytelling and drama sessions
      • Art and craft projects inspired by Italian culture
      • Food-themed vocabulary lessons
      • Music and singing in Italian
      • Cultural celebrations and themed events
      • $380 first child only~
      • $350 for siblings (must be enrolled in the same class)

      • No prerequisites and no prior experience with Italian required.

      Conditions of enrolment

      • Missed classes cannot be made up by joining other classes on different days/times
      • Once enrolled, fees cannot be refunded unless classes are cancelled by ILC
      • ILC accepts no responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance
      • Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis
      • In the case of classes with less than 8 students enrolled, ILC may cancel the class and refund the enrolment fee and cost of materials where applicable
