Certificazione di Competenza in Italiano (Cert.It) is an official qualification issued by Università Roma Tre, recognised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI – Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale) and the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIUR – Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito).
Cert.It tests all four language competencies: speaking, writing, listening and reading, and follows the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) levels (A1–C2).

To pass the exam candidates must achieve at least 60% of the total score in the Listening, Reading and Writing Sections, and at least 60% of the score in the Speaking Section.
